Westminster Christian School ~ Hat Day for Freedom Firm!

Back in April, the administration of Westminster Christian School in Elgin, IL, invited Becky Morris (our Midwest Rep) to speak to their middle school and high school students about the reality of sex trafficking and Freedom Firm’s mission to end it!  The students listened attentively and then wrote in fantastic and thought-provoking questions for Becky to come back and answer a week later.  During that second visit, Becky challenged the students to not just care about the issue of sex slavery in our world, but to DO something about it!  She encouraged them to never let their age stand in the way of fighting for justice in a world that desperately needs it.

Two middle school girls, Grace & Emma, had their hearts gripped by God that day.  And they decided they couldn’t stand by and do nothing!  The girls went to the administration and asked them to allow them to sponsor an all-school fundraiser to benefit Freedom Firm’s work of Rescue, Restoration and Justice!

Praise God for young people open to His voice and His promptings in their lives!  The girls organized a Hat Day at the school.  Students could pay $2 to wear any kind of hat to school that day and all the money would go to our work in India.  The students (K-12) and staff came together to support our cause and raised $354!  Way to go Westminster!  We thank God for your heart for the oppressed and can’t wait to see how you will go out and change the world!

Thank you Westminster Christian School for your incredible support!
