Become an Active Friend

In addition to fulfilling the role of an Acquaintance of Freedom Firm, become an Active Friend by:

  • Sharing Freedom Firm Facebook updates on your wall, and Retweeting Freedom Firm Tweets

  • Host one Awareness Gathering per year for your friends or neighborhood. One way to do that is to organize a screening of Freedom Firm's "Horse and Rider" Film or a organize an awareness experience educating others about trafficking with materials provided by Freedom Firm or host a jewelry party event called "What's in a Name" to promote jewelry made in Freedom Firm's aftercare home.

    Events can range from a car wash to a benefit concert; no idea is too big or too small. Consider hosting an educational dessert night for family and friends as an easy and comfortable way to share Freedom Firm. Where possible, ask people to give time and/or donations to support Freedom Firm initiatives. When hosting an event, use official Freedom Firm fundraising cards, Brochures, Real Time Update Sign-Up sheets, the “Get Involved” form and promotional Freedom Firm DVD. Make your fundraising style truly your own, interacting with others in a style and comfortable venue where you are excited to share about the work that is being done

Become an Advocate

In addition to fulfilling the roles of an Acquaintance and Active Friend of Freedom Firm, become an Advocate by:

  • Plan an Additional Event per year for your community. Examples can include organizing a Screening of "Horse and Rider: A Journey towards Freedom", or a Sponsored Event like a run or bake sale to inform others of the problem of sex trafficking in India and around the world.

    UK residents can make their own Fundraising Page where people can donate online using charitygiving.co.uk.

  • Donate a minimum of $/€/£10 a month to Freedom Firm. Click here for online giving.

  • Invite other individuals in your community to give financially to Freedom Firm. Recruit 5 individuals each year to give $/€/£10 a month and also become official Freedom Firm advocates.

    • To Officially Become an Advocate of Freedom Firm: Email contact@freedom.firm.in

    Advocates will receive:

    • Quarterly Email Updates from the field

    • A Quarterly Conference Skype Call with the Associate Director of Advancement and Communications in India. This is a chance to get up close and personal with the work in India, and communicate with Freedom Firm and other Advocates.

    • An Official Advocate Certificate mailed to you.

      • MEET OUR ADVOCATES

Become an Ambassador

In addition to fulfilling the roles of an Acquaintance, Active Friend, and Advocate of Freedom Firm, become an Ambassador by:

  • Providing Support and Information to others in your area to get involved with Freedom Firm. There will also be other specific responsibilities given to you based on your skills and desires, which may require a minimum of 5 hours per month.

  • Visit Freedom Firm in India as a volunteer or on a vision trip, and share about your experiences before and after. The next vision trip scheduled for Winter/Spring 2013. Slots are not guaranteed, and there will be an application process.

    Ambassadors will receive:

    • Quarterly Email Updates from the field

    • A Quarterly Conference Skype Call with the Associate Director of Advancement and Communications in India. This is a chance to get up close and personal with the work in India, and communicate with Freedom Firm and other Ambassadors.

    • An Official Ambassador Certificate mailed to you.

    • A Freedom Firm email address (if applicable) and (Optional) business cards you can print

    • An Annual Conference Skype Call with the International Director in India.
