POSITION: Graphic Design Virtual Intern

LOCATION: Toronto, Canada

BIO: I am a graphic designer living in Toronto, Canada, hoping to use design to tell stories, educate people and promote positive social change. I am curious about the world around me and I enjoy meeting people and learning about their lives. This has also developed my interest in social justice and what it really means to serve and love others. I learned about Freedom Firm through the band Aradhna and I will be working with Freedom Firm to design and develop materials that reflect its mission of rescue, restoration and justice. I am excited to contribute to its work despite being on the other side of the world!

Chad Whitman

POSITION: Web Development Virtual Intern

LOCATION: PA, USA

BIO: Chad grew up and spent most of his life in Central Florida, then lived NYC and now resides in Philadelphia. He currently works as a web developer for Zivtech, a web firm located in downtown Philadelphia. Chad has a BA from the University of Central Florida where he studied American & European History and is currently pursuing a M.S. in Web Development & Design from the University of Denver. Chad has also taken various computer science courses from Temple University and is currently a student developer for Google Summer of Code 2012. Before getting into web development, Chad worked a few years as a middle school math teacher at private schools in Orlando and Manhattan. When Chad isn't coding, he likes to jog, spend time with his wife and friends, explore new areas of Philly and watch way too many movies. And, if Chad wasn't nerdy enough, he also leads book club discussions at one of his local libraries.
