A 23 month search for a trafficked child comes to an end

20th March 2025, 13 year old Mazina a Bangladeshi national’s case who was referred to us by a partner NGO in April 2023 was finally rescued in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, by the Anti Human Trafficking Unit, AHTU, Ahmedabad. Our team has been trying to rescue this child for almost two years. We kept pushing the police to conduct their own internal investigations and rescue her. Over the last few days the police got cracking and all our combined intel led to the rescue. We are on our way to Ahmedabad to conduct all the post rescue procedures as requested by the AHTU.
