Last evening we got intel that 16 year Jasmine was trafficked from Bangladesh to India (first Bangalore and then Pune.) Shortly after arriving in Pune, she was forced into prostitution. We also learned that her relatives were responsible for trafficking her and she was going to be moved to another brothel outside the city. Not wanting to lose her, we met the police late last night and shared our intel. The police and our team searched for Jasmine throughout the night.
Today morning, 11th July, the police and our team searched for Jasmine. At 9 am Jasmine we found Jasmine and she was rescued. Three people were detained and being interrogated by the police.
